Grange Road Medical is committed to training new doctors and nurses. We do this because we believe that we have a responsibility to pass on our knowledge and experience to a new generation and ensure that our future health care providers have excellent training and experience.
We train - General Practice Registrars
Medical Students - both 1st and 3rd years
Nursing Students.
All our trainees sign agreements regarding confidentiality and ethical standards of care. All of our trainees are supervised and are not permitted to perform any unsupervised tasks for which they are not trained. As a patient, you have every right not to have a student during your consultation with your doctor. Please let the reception staff know and the student will then vacate the room during your consultation. However, please also consider that medical students need to gain experience with difficult consultations and your consent in helping us educate them in ALL aspects of General Practice would be appreciated.
