Dr Tu Khai Huynh

My name is Tu (t-oo) Huynh (Hwən).

I was born in Vietnam, and came with my parents to Australia as refugees in 1979.

I have lived in Brisbane most of my life. Went to Brisbane State High School and graduated from UQ in 1998 with my MBBS and spent 4 years at Ipswich General Hospital. I had experience in Emergency medicine, ICU, and Ophthalmology (eyes) apart from the normal rotations in hospital, before deciding on General Practice.

I have an interest in paediatrics (kids), eye problems, men's health and skin checks, and perform minor procedures like removing skin cancers.

I have started the Ipswich Travel Clinic to provide travel advice and health needs (vaccines, travel kits, yellow fever certificates) for those travelling overseas..

I have a lovely supportive wife and two kids who are growing up fast.

I have been at Grange Road now for a few years and hope that we can continue to provide excellent service to the community with our collective knowledge and experience in our doctors.
